Today I took part in the Triton ONE × QQPK Genesis Ticket Freeroll, where the goal was to finish in the Top 14 and advance to the next stage. Unfortunately, my run ended in 99th place out of 368 players.

One of the key hands was a tough spot with 10♥8♥. I called a bet on the flop with a draw, but after my opponent moved all-in on the turn, I decided to commit my remaining chips. Unfortunately, the river didn't help, and my opponent made three of a kind.

These are the moments that remind me how important it is to evaluate not only the potential of a hand but also the opponent's range, the pot odds, and the tournament situation. Chasing a draw can be tempting, especially when a big pot is at stake, but every decision needs a solid reason behind it.
