Today I jumped into the $2.2 Daily 1000x Event with a $2,000 guarantee on QQPK. It was another fast-paced tournament with plenty of action and some difficult decisions.

One of the most memorable hands came when I was in the big blind holding A♣2♣.

The flop came A♥ 7♣ 3♦. I checked, and my opponent made a bet of 4.56 BB. I decided to call with top pair.

The turn brought the 4♦. After another bet of 10.64 BB, I decided to move all-in for around 29.72 BB, hoping to protect my hand and take down the pot.

Unfortunately, my opponent called with A♦9♥. The river was the J♦, and my opponent's stronger kicker played. I lost a huge pot of 33.12 BB. 😔

Looking back, this was definitely a tough spot. Having an ace can make it difficult to let go of a hand, especially when the opponent keeps applying pressure.

That's tournament poker: sometimes even top pair isn't enough. The important thing is to review these situations, learn from them, and keep improving.

Hopefully, the next Daily 1000x brings a much better run!
