Today I played the $3.3 Strike Rush Hunter 7 10BB $150 GTD. Unfortunately, one tough hand cost me a big part of my stack.

I was in the Big Blind with J♥8♥ and had around 13BB behind. The action went all-in preflop against A♣7♣. My opponent had a strong chance to win, but the board gave me some hope: J♠ 5♣ 6♥ 3♠ 4♠.

I hit a pair of Jacks on the flop, but the turn and river completed a straight for my opponent. 😭 I lost the pot and was left with no chips.

This hand is a reminder that even when you connect with the flop, you still need to be careful about your opponent’s draws. In these fast 10BB tournaments, every decision matters, and sometimes the runout just doesn't go your way.
