Today I played the $2.2 Warm-Up Turbo Mystery Bounty $1,500 GTD. I had an interesting hand with A♦9♣ that ended up costing me a big pot.

I raised from the HJ with A9, and my opponent called. The board ran out 9♥ 6♣ 3♣ Q♣ 4♦. I hit top pair with my Ace kicker on the flop, but the turn brought a Queen, and my opponent's Q♥6♥ improved to two pair — queens and sixes.

I ended up losing 19.09BB in this hand. 😔

It's frustrating to lose a big pot after connecting with the flop, but poker is full of these situations. The important thing is to review the hand, learn from it, and keep making the best decisions possible.
