Today I played the $1.1 Bounty Hunter $300 GTD. There were 307 players, and only the top 39 made the money. Unfortunately, I finished in 53rd place, just short of the ITM.
In the key hand, I had A♠Q♠. The board ran out 6♥ 4♣ J♠ 4♠ 10♦, and my opponent showed J♥9♣. They made two pairs, jacks and fours, while I only had a pair of fours from the board.
It's frustrating to bust so close to the money, but that's poker. In bounty tournaments, it's important not only to build your stack but also to choose the right spots to take risks.
Time to move on and try again! ♠️🔥
