My first Apple Grand Prix Day 1

Hi everyone. Today I decided to try my luck in the $1.10 Apple Grand Prix Day 1. I entered with 40 minutes of late registration remaining and started with a 10 BB stack. Hoping for a decent hand, I decided to shove A6o from UTG; an opponent called, and I saw they had A9. I got really lucky when a 6 hit the board, giving me a massive double-up. Unfortunately, even that wasn't enough to make it to Day 2. As they say, maybe next time ;)
