Today I played the $1.1 Daily Classic with a $300 guaranteed prize pool on QQPK. The tournament attracted 235 players, and I managed to finish 27th, earning $3.

It was an interesting tournament. Although I didn't manage to make a deeper run, I gained valuable experience and had a chance to review some important moments.

🃏 Key Hand

I had A♦K♦. The board ran out 3♦ 5♠ 2♣ J♣ Q♥.

Unfortunately, I couldn't improve my hand. My opponent showed pocket eights, 8♠8♦, and their pair held up. As a result, I lost 6.17 BB.

💭

Hands like this remind me that even strong starting hands don't guarantee victory. It's important to evaluate the situation correctly after the flop and remember that AK is still just a high-card hand when it doesn't connect with the board.

I'll keep playing, reviewing my decisions, and working on improving my results.

Many more exciting events ahead! ♠️🔥
