$1.1 Daily Turbo $200 GTD 2026.11.02 17:15 (UTC +2) Today I played my first $1.10 Daily Turbo. I made two entries, and unfortunately both turned out pretty badly.
I registered late because I got the time a little mixed up. There's quite a big time difference, so to manage to play all the tournaments, I would have to start early in the morning, which isn't always possible. But even if I can make it to at least a couple of them, that's already good.
As for the tournament itself, my first entry ended with JJ against 99. Well, there's not much you can do against the river sometimes. Those few percent hit every now and then, just like in this hand — a 9 appeared on the river.
I made a second entry and won a three-way preflop all-in with 66. However, since everyone had short stacks, I didn't gain that many chips. Then, just a couple of hands later, I picked up KK and faced A7o. At first, I didn't even understand why I had lost. I hadn't noticed that, damn it, the river had once again completed my opponent's gutshot! I somehow had it in my head that only an Ace could beat me, so when the chips went the other way, I was a little surprised. 😅
So that's how my first Daily Turbo went — two entries, and the tricky river got me both times. 😅
