А very unsuccessful tournament!

$1.1 Daily Turbo $200 GTD 2026.11.05 17:15(UTC +2) Today's tournament was a really frustrating one. I think I may have gone on tilt, even though I always try to avoid it. But we're all human.
I made as many as three entries. The first two ended almost immediately, as I got knocked out in the very first hands. With my third entry, I thought the same thing was going to happen because I was down to just 6 BB, but somehow I managed to make a bit of a comeback.
I got lucky with K4 against QQ, then got lucky again with KJ against KQ, completing a straight. I also won a coin flip with 88 against A9 and managed to get back to my starting stack.
After that, I went for quite a while without getting any playable cards and just kept folding. Eventually, I was dealt AT and managed to hold against KJ. This was already after late registration had closed.
My final hand was a three-way all-in with A5s and 15 BB. Looking back, it was probably a mistake because my stack was still in decent shape. Sometimes I make these impulsive decisions without thinking them through, and considering how the tournament had started, I'll put it down to that.
The lesson: If a tournament just isn't going your way, it's better not to keep re-entering. Sometimes it's best to accept the bad run, walk away, and not play anymore that day. Otherwise, frustration can lead to a lot of bad hands and poor decisions that only make things worse.
Good luck everyone, and don't go on tilt! 🙂
